After several years spent learning his trade, Steven focussed his talents into mixing film with animation and directed his debut music video ‘Mess it up’ for band ‘Blind Jackson’. For the following two years Steven has been directing pre-production television commercials with some of the largest advertising agencies in the world, spanning an impressive portfolio within that field. Taking this experience and skill level to the next step he partook in an MA in Moving image and Animation. Directing and stylising his own short film with ‘My Brown Friend’. The short film charts the development of a young girlís addiction to heroin. This film is receiving great acclaim and is rapidly picking up momentum on the festival circuit. The director describes it as a live action Disney film, gone bad. Steven continues to write scripts for future projects and is one to look out for in the future.
