The next highly anticipated Animation Forum WM event, Ad's on Walls, takes place this August, giving animators the chance to schmooze, screen and shout about their animated commercial work with fellow peers over an after-work drink. Like Shorts on Walls, but with all your finest commercial work instead! Animators each get 5 minutes or so to introduce a few examples of their animated commercial work in a relaxed bar setting.
Animators each get 5 minutes or so to screen and – if they're not too shy, introduce, a few examples of their animated commercial work over an after-work pint at Concrete Bar @ The Big Peg, The Jewellery Quarter (6.30pm).
Whether or not you actually animate commercially at the moment, Ad's on Walls is a great chance for animators to meet and network after work with other freelancers, studios and professionals over a mid-week beverage.
Many Forum members often don't realise how many animation studios and companies there are dotted around the region, and part of the 'big idea' behind Ad's on Walls, is to introduce animators to what's actually going on, on their doorstep.
