Gain vital experience as a Camera Operator and Assistant Video Editor in a media studio in Birmingham City Centre and boost your career opportunities within the highly competitive media industry.
NTI Birmingham is looking for a placement student to take on a 6-month placement, minimum 3 days per week. Candidates need to demonstrate a flair for camera work and/or editing (ideally in Final Cut Pro). It would also be an advantage to know Motion Graphics packages such as After Effects and Motion.
This is an excellent opportunity to extend your professional portfolio while working on live projects in an industry environment. The work is demanding with tight deadlines so you must demonstrate commitment and flexibility in accepting this placement.
During the internship you will get the option to attend at least three of our Apple or Adobe accredited training courses for free (worth between £440 and £750 depending on what you select), this includes Affect Affects and Final Cut Pro.
If you are interested, please send us a link to a portfolio of work and a CV to Rebecca Birch at rebecca.birch@bcu.ac.uk. Students who meet our requirements will be shortlisted for an interview. Deadline for applications: Deadline 17TH February 2012. Start date and days can be negotiated.
